Fans cheer on the players during the 2022 Peter Mulholland Cup Grand Final at Leichhardt OvalCongratulations to the A Grade Rugby League team who will be playing against Hills Sports in the Grand Final at Leichhardt Oval on Wednesday August 31, kick off at 1pm. College Principal, Peter Wade is very proud of the players and the Coaching Staff who have prepared and trained consistently for this momentous occasion.

The Coaching staff is led by Frank Pritchard, former NRL player, who also represented New Zealand and Samoa at the international level. Frank overcame serious covid related health problems to steer his young players to the Grand Final of the Peter Mullholland Cup. College Principal, Peter Wade commented that “Frank Pritchard has been an inspirational leader not only for our boys in the Rugby League Team but has dedicated his time and expertise in providing after school homework help to students in the local area in conjunction with Cabramatta Leagues Club. “A service that is providing additional educational support for students in Western Sydney”.

Frank wishes to thank his coaching staff Bill Bourke, Bethany Neaves, Lisa Coluccio, Joshua Morgan, Andrew Khanano for their commitment and dedication to training our boys to prepare for the Peter Mulholland Cup.

This is a special moment for the College as it was 30 years ago that Patrician Brothers College Fairfield appeared in the Grand Final Schoolboy cup competition defeating Harristown State High School Toowoomba by one point in 1992. As the blue and blue tradition continues we wish the players and Coaching Staff all the best for next Wednesday’s Grand Final against Hills Sports High.
