Providing a range of co-curricular opportunities is important to us because we value each child’s individual skills and interests, and we want to give every opportunity for students to grow and further their potential.

Patrician Brothers’ College Fairfield cultivates confidence and positive attitudes in young men through a quality educational experience within the formal and extensive co-curricular program.

Creative and Performing Arts

Our student’s work closely with CASPA, the dynamic performing arts program of Sydney Catholic Schools’. Our boys have opportunities to work in collaboration with Mary Mackillop College Wakeley to produce, play, act and dance school musicals and perform at key celebrations and services. Photography and visual design offer vocational opportunities for students post school where creativity and problem solving is greatly sought. Photography students are encouraged and have regularly entered external competitions and have won many awards showcasing their conceptual strength and skill in working to a brief.

Students have the opportunity to enrich their classroom learning with diverse co-curricular groups and clubs. Many students enter into competitions, such as with debating, public speaking, and chess, and are successful. Students also develop critical thinking skills in the philosophy club and STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics) club, which is an integral part of Teaching and Learning, led by our STEM coordinator.
